In 1950, Mr Li Ka-shing founded Cheung Kong Industries.  The company Cheung Kong, is named after the Yangtze River that flows through China, a great river that aggregates countless streams and tributaries, reflecting Mr Li’s belief in synergy, the power of combined efforts.
