By continuing to expand our range of products which include office supplies, printing, floral and corporate premiums, we aim to provide an One Stop Shop for these professionals to save them time and hassles, and at the same time, enjoy our super-competitive pricing and the convenience of on-line ordering through bigboXX.com" said Solomon To, Chief Executive Officer of bigboXX.com, during the prize presentation.
Carrica Lee, champion of the bigboXX Super Administrator Award, agreed that an outstanding administrator should leverage technology to increase efficiency in today's competitive business world. "By using technology, administrators can free up more time to contribute value-added services for their bosses and colleagues." Carrica herself sets a good example in using online services, regularly performing a range of tasks from ordering office stationery and floral decorations to printing office forms, as well as checking purchasing records.
To help companies show their appreciation of administrative staff this month, bigboXX.com is currently running a promotional offer for customers who order flowers and gifts for their secretaries and administrative staff. The offer, which is valid throughout April, includes special discounts on recommended bouquets and baskets, ranging from HK$200 to HK$400. The flowers and gifts can be ordered easily over the Internet, or by phone or fax.
Formerly known as Professional Secretary's Day, Administrative Professional's Day was introduced by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) in the United States in 1952 and is celebrated annually on last Wednesday of April. This year is on April 24. It was established in an effort to recognise secretaries for their contributions in the workplace, and to attract talent to the secretarial profession. Over the years, Administrative Professional's Day has become one of the world's largest workplace observances. Two years ago, IAAP announced a name change to keep pace with changing job titles and the expanding responsibilities of today's administrative workforce.
