HIT receives prestigious HK Health and Safety Certificate

Hongkong International Terminals (HIT) today (Wednesday, 13 July 2011) received the Continual Improvement Safety Programme Recognition of System (CISPROS) Level 3 certificate from the Occupational Safety & Health Council (OSHC) in a ceremony held at the terminal. HIT is one of only five companies in Hong Kong to have received this prestigious recognition from the OSHC, a statutory body established in 1988 for promoting safety and health in the workplace.

The CISPROS certificate acknowledges HIT's commitment to making continual improvements to its occupational safety and health management system (OSHMS) by introducing programmes that keep its staff and contractors' employees up-to-date with the latest industry practices.

The CISPROS Level 3 certificate is the highest level that the OSHC has yet awarded.
