3, the Italian Mobile Video Company of the Hutchison Whampoa Group, is proud to present the prestigious Christmas Concert, at its 12th edition.

After a year of important commercial achievements, 3 would like to share its message of peace and to support the related project "50 Churches for Rome".

This extraordinary Christmas event underlines the similarity between music and 3's video-communication services: they both have the power to inspire passion, to knock down the barriers between men and to facilitate people aggregation.

The concert will take place at the aula Paolo VI, in Vatican, Saturday 18th December, hosted by Cristina Parodi and broadcast on the Christmas eve starting from 21.00 on channel 5. It has been the most followed TV transmission at Christmas night over the years.

Like previous years, the performance will be again starred by top international and national artists. Those from Italy include Sergio Cammariere, Pino Daniele, Max Pezzali, Massimo Ranieri. China will be represented by Hong Mei Nie; Portugal by Dulce Pontes, Israele da Noa, UK by Simply Red while from the U.S will come Dee Dee Bridgewater.

Italy will also be represented by "I Piccoli Musici" and by "Coro Borghes" while the Simphonic Orchestra "Terzo Millennio", directed by Renato Serio, will realize all the musical arrangements and will accompany the artists' vocal performances.

3 - Is the commercial brand of H3G, the mobile video company in the Italian market. After having won the UMTS license in Italy in November 2000, with the offer of 3,25 billion euros, 3 launched its service at the beginning of March 2003 and aimed for the leadership of the third generation mobile market.
