Hutchison Optel Telecom Technology not a
CK Hutchison Group company

(Hong Kong, 22 December 2020) It is noted in media reports that the United States Commerce Department published a “Military End User” list which includes a company called Hutchison Optel Telecom Technology Co., Ltd ("Hutchison Optel").

CK Hutchison Group sold all its shares in Hutchison Optel in 2015. As a result, the Group no longer has any ownership or relation with the stated company. We understand this company has subsequently changed its name and no longer carries the “Hutchison” brand.
